Simplifying Property Transfers

Conveyancing Cost

In most cases our cost is approximately $1600 - $1800 + GST plus disbursement costs of Certificates and Sundries. However, all property conveyances are not the same and some matters take more time than others even though they are similar. If matters involve additional work for items such as Licence Agreements, Caveat Lodgements, Section 27s, Purchaser Nominations, Lost Titles, Powers of Attorney, adhering to Court Oders or attending to unforeseen issues, they take more time than quoted and can be charged on an hourly basis.

Our business is property conveyancing only, so we focus on achieving optimum results for our clients transferring property.

We act on matters when we are formally appointed by you to transfer property via the Hire Us button. If you are not quite ready to appoint us, please call Matt on 0402 128 125 as we love chatting about what we do and how we can help.

Certificates Cost

The disbursement costs of certificates and administration fees required to transfer properties are charged additionally by 3rd parties and paid by us on your behalf to recover on or before settlement, and on average these costs range between $350 and $650 depending on the type of property.

If you sell a property, we ask for these costs to be reimbursed via an invoice sent to you upon the production of the Contract of Sale and Vendor Statement and delivery to your Real Estate Agent. We do not mark up this cost and appreciate payment within 7-days as we buy them for you and they are required pursuant to the Sale of Land Act 1962 s32.

If you buy a property, we need to purchase Certificates to accurately calculate Adjustments in preparation for settlement. The Adjustments determine the exact amount due to pay for the property and bills on the property to guarantee a clear Title passing between the Vendor and Purchaser. These costs are typically paid at settlement via the PEXA Workspace as part of the settlement process and are included in the final invoice sent to you prior to settlement.
